WTB selects Meridian Construction for Lewiston branch

Meridian Construction and Development has been selected as the General Contractor for the new Washington Trust Bank branch in Lewiston Idaho. The 3000-square-foot building will have a modern interactive teller area, offices, conference rooms and other support areas. The project also includes site work, landscaping and an ATM, teller drive through. Work will begin in early July and take about five months to complete. The architect is Wolfe Architectural Group from Spokane.

GSI and NE Public Development Authority welcome new Executive Director

Greater Spokane Inc. (GSI) and the Northeast Public Development Authority recently announced that David Guthrie has been selected as Executive Director of the Northeast Public Development Authority (NEPDA). David will serve as a staff member of GSI, dedicated exclusively to furthering the mission of the NEPDA. GSI will provide supporting services in alignment with its mission of leading transformative business and community initiatives to build a robust regional economy. Under direction of the NEPDA Board of Directors, he will administer and direct the NEPDA strategic growth plan, implement long-range strategies, and coordinate with partner agencies to ensure the economic health and vitality of the NEPDA.

David brings a wealth of experience in developing and managing commercial/mixed-use space, including being the development manager for the award-winning 160-acre Riverstone project in Coeur d'Alene. He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial development and commercial real estate and finance. He founded Guthrie & Associates in 2007, providing a broad spectrum of real estate consulting and brokerage services. He most recently worked managing the global real estate holdings of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.

In 2012, NEPDA was established by the City of Spokane in response to requests from the community for increased capacity and focus on creating more jobs in the Hillyard Industrial Area in northeast Spokane.

River Rock Taphouse now open

River Rock Taphouse is now open at 926 W Sprague Avenue, in the former Chronicle newspaper press room. They will offer 32 top-quality craft beers as well as wines, ciders, and Kombucha, supporting local and regional breweries and wineries. David Gardner elected President of Spokane County Bar Association

David P. Gardner, a principal with Winston & Cashatt, Lawyers, has been elected as the President of the Spokane County Bar Association for 2019-2020. He was sworn in at the SCBA Annual Meeting last week. David's practice emphasizes debtor-creditor issues, including bankruptcy and receiverships. He also serves as a Panel Trustee for the United States Trustee office. Winston & Cashatt has a long history of service to the local, specialty and state bar associations. Many members of the firm have served as officers of the SCBA and the Washington State Bar Association.

Kelsey Pruitt joins Dr. Donald F. Condon & Family Care

The medical office of Dr. Donald F. Condon and Family Care Spokane has recently hired their new PA-C, Kelsey E. Pruitt. Kelsey graduated from Mead High School in 2007 and from Washington State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Microbiology emphasizing molecular biology. After working in Atlanta, Georgia, as a certified nursing assistant and medical scribe, Kelsey attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Manchester, New Hampshire. She graduated in 2018 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
