Mission Control Records adds artists to label

Spokane-based record label Mission Control, which has released albums by the Randy Shaw Band, Chad Mitchell, Sammy Eubanks, Charlie Butz, Michael Lenke and even the Singing Nuns of Mount St. Michaels will release a single from Spokane native and LC graduate, Keyonna Knight on Christmas Eve. The record is a cover of Meatloaf's hit "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" and can digitally downloaded from Google Play, Amazon, iTunes and other major digital retailers.

Mission Control Records is an independent record label owned and operated by Karl Bingle. Their mission is to work with artists to give them the tools they need to get started in the industry. They represent an increasingly wide variety of genres and hope to expand as new artists sign with the company.

The company started off as a hobby for Bingle. Over the past several decades he has been a part-time musician and worked with many great artists. Mission Control started out as a home recording setup in his basement. He couldn't afford to pay a professional studio to do all of the recording that he was doing, so he purchased a used Tascam 4-Track reel-to-reel recorder. The studio continued to evolve with the technology and In the 1990's the studio had grown into a 24-Track ADAT digital studio with a good assortment of microphones and outboard gear to work with. Mission Control is located at 424 E. Owens Road in Chattaroy, the website is mission-control-records.com ad the phone number is 509-220-1216
